What
is an "Internet Employee"? |
An Internet Employee is
an employee who works off-site. He or she connects
to his employer's computer via the Internet (hence
the name) and uses its applications, data, network
resources, and printers just as if he or she is
in sitting in front of that computer. The employee
communicates with his manager and coworkers all
day long via video-over-IP, voice-over-IP and
POTS (plain old telephone systems.)
|
What
is the difference between an Internet Employee and
an ordinary employee? |
An Internet Employee is
like a conventional employee in every aspect except
that an Internet Employee does not work on-site
at the employer's office, but rather off-site
at our facilities in India. Nevertheless, he communicates
with his manager and coworkers as efficiently
as on-site employees.
|
Why
should any company consider hiring people who are
thousands of miles away? |
Payroll is the largest
expense of every business in the US. By hiring
Internet Employees, companies drastically reduce
their expenses and therefore, increase their profits
(and in many cases post a profit for the first
time). They achieve these benefits
without compromising productivity; on the contrary,
Internet Employees are more productive than their
conventional counterparts because they are highly
skilled professionals who pass several interview
stages and work overtime whenever at the regular
hourly rate.
|
How
can a remote employee be as productive as an on-site
employee? |
Recent advances in technology
have made it possible for anyone with access to
the Internet to connect to the desktop of a remote
computer and use the applications that are installed
on it, the files that are stored on it, the resources
of the network which it is part of, and even print
to its printer. In addition, the quality of free
voice-over-IP has become better than that of regular
phone lines. Thus an Internet Employee works with
his manager and coworkers in real time and communicates
with them all day long-just like an on-site employee.

Is
Internet Employee for my company? |
Whether you are a C-level
executive in a Fortune 500 company or a home business
owner, your business can significantly benefit
from hiring Internet Employees. You can hire one
employee or hundreds of employees. You can hire
them for one day only to help you finish a time-sensitive
project or hire them as permanent workers. There
are Internet Employees with different sets of
skills and they can perform a virtually unlimited
array of tasks.
|
How
can I hire an Internet Employee? |
It is as easy as 1-2-3.
First, you fill out this simple inquiry
form to tell us about your company, line of
business and how many employees you need and for
how long. Second, we will contact you within one
business day to finalize the transaction. Third,
your Internet Employee will be on the job within
days.
|
What
does it cost to hire an Internet Employee? |
When a company hires Internet
Employees it saves tremendously. Internet Employees'
salaries are only a fraction of that of on-site
US employees and there are no overhead costs associated
with employment like employment taxes, employee
benefits, unemployment insurance, worker compensation,
and real estate and office expenses. Please refer
to our pricing
chart for more details.
|
Are
there any security issues associated with working
with off-shore employees? |
No. In fact it is safer to
exchange data with an Internet Employee than to
email it from you home computer to your office computer.
The security of your sensitive data is our top priority
and Internet Employee uses the most advanced encryption
technology available-AES. This is the same technology
as the one used for online banking. And since an
Internet Employee works on his employer's computer,
no data needs to be stored on the employee's computer.
All Internet Employees are screened and sign a confidentiality
statement. |
